There’s Too Much White Space Series (2019)

Upon gaining interest, doing research, and attending classes in the field of graphic design, I was shocked and disappointed by the lack of representation in the field. All I saw were the stereotypical images of white male designers. 77% of hired graphic designers are white (Census Bureau, 2017). We are hardly reflected in articles, on design panels, podcasts, and the like, but we exist.

The “There’s Too Much White Space” Series was inspired by the clear lack of diversity in the design field, serving as awareness images and a call to action for stakeholders in the field, to diversify their design staff.
