The ZIP Launchpad is San Diego State University’s on campus startup incubator, which guides SDSU students and staff from the stage of ideation to launching their startup.
The ZIP Launchpad logo redesign was initiated with the intention of creating a more modern mark that would appeal to students, better communicate the ZIP Launchpad’s identity, and have the versatility to be modified for the Launchpad’s various initiatives and marketing materials.
In addition to the logo redesign, Naomi worked closely with the Launchpad, as Marketing & Operations assistant, creating various promotional materials and managing social media.

Font & Color Palette
Color Palette inspired by the original ZIP Launchpad Logo and building. Playing on the updated rocket logo design and brand name “Launchpad” the Futura Font (famously used by NASA) was chosen as the brand’s font.
